Cyclical Combination Chemotherapy of Malignant Lymyhoma with Cyclophosphamide , Vincristine and Prednisone

|
Twenty-four patients with advanced malignant lymphoma were treated with cyclophosphamide, vincristine, and prednisone in combination. One course of the combination regimen was given in a period of 7 days; this was repeated every 4 weeks. There were 10 (42%) complete remissions and 12 (50%) partial remissions. Toxicity, chiefly moderate myelosuppression and paresthesia, were produced but reversible. In inducing complete remission, this combination regimen appears superior to single drug therapy.
